on something to share…

i would like to share one of my 2007-2008 projects with you. my friend from jdo photography and i have begun working on a “photo time capsule-” a 12 month book showcasing my evolution in “modeling” [read:my ghetto ass version of "america's next top model"].

my friend and i created this project as a challenge to really, both of us myself. for him, it’s an opportunity to expand his business, and for me, the it’s an opportunity to knock a few 2008 personal goals out of the box. my 2 largest goals at the creation of this project were to have a collection of pics that i could use as professional-type pics for my myspace, web, etc. page(s), and to get my body in it’s most perfect shape by it’s completion! this challenge has inspired me to get off of my ass and live, eat, exercise right, as well as work on who i am and finding my style! it’s a (hard) but great challenge!

to be honest, i’ve kept the project (and secret) from you for so long because i was scared of the pictures. scared of what they would say. now half-way through the project i’m no where near where is should be, but i realize that you must have a past in order to have a future, that this is my story, and that i’m wasting my money if i don’t get my ass to work(!)- so i am sharing this project (and the following photos) with whomever may find this blog.

these pics are 5 shots from the 5 shoots i have already completed (months september, 2007 – january, 2008). i’ve got some cute pics! my focus for the next half of the project is to get my body together so that i can show more skin, and get out of my comfort zone when it comes to posing!

sharing this with you, journal, is just another incentive for me to get to work and do what i have to do in order to get the pictures i want to get! i have to stop getting re-arranged, start working out and continue to eat & live right. i have to meet God half-way! i know i can do it!
