ok, here's the deal. a year ago, i started a personal photo project with a photographer friend of mine. it was a photo time capsule- a pictorial collage noting my style and workout progress for the year. i used my photo shoots to express who i was as person at the time, and to learn how to be comfortable in front of a camera. unfortunately for me, my friend moved to san francisco earlier this year, and so i was unable to complete the project.

been staring at iPhoto for months, but never actually opened it. it's actually really fun. i think i'm gonna start using it a lot more... get used to the camera. specifically being myself and comfortable on camera! :)

my mom is terrible with pictures. not so much taking them, but getting them developed. growing up, i remember there being a camera around, and even remember seeing both my parents taking pictures almost everywhere we went; but nothing ever got developed.
when we were in our late teens, my sister and i raided my mom's bedroom closet looking for evidence that we were once little and undeniably adorable. there just had to be some pictures of us growing ...
just sittin' in a cafe gazing out of the window. god, i love the summertime. people just bounce down the street with life and energy. it feels good! ...
