Good Job, Jesus – Hocus Pocus!

I haven’t done a Good Job, Jesus post in a really long time. I promise I’ll bring back the hawt boys, but tonight I gotta give it up to something I just came across that totally made my day!

Surfing through my Facebook friend’s statuses this evening, I came across this video, courtesy of an acquaintance of mine, that just made me feel so very good! Let’s see if you get as excited as I did when I watched it…

Ok, a little tidbit about me. I LOVE me some Hocus Pocus…and I LIVE for this scene!! I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve sat on my couch- watching this movie, and pranced around my living room- acting and singing out this scene! Truth be told, if I had the balls (and thought that people would actually “get it”) I’d soooo dress up as Winnifred Sanderson for Halloween.

Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker will forever have a special place in my heart because of this movie. You made the last year of Jr. High, and the rest of my life, so much more bearable. Really! So tonight, I take a sip from my beverage, raise my head to the heavens, and pay thankful homage to these 3 awesome women, the creators of Hocus Pocus, and the writer of the song, “I Put A Spell On You”- which only my stuffed animals have ever (and will ever) see me perform.

Good Job, Jesus! This was an awesome movie!

good job, jesus! – the “who whoulda thought” edition…

i never really paid any attention to this guy when he first popped onto the scene- for starters, he was a kid. and although he was a cute little kid, he was annoying. little did i know that one day, i would come across a picture that would change my mind:

lil romeo got sexy as hell, didn’t he? i mean this came out of nowhere! he was just this short, bubblegum wrapper trying to compete with bow-wow, and then all of a sudden he’s like, a man. and a phyne one at that!

i never ever thought that i would look at a picture of lil’ romeo (is he still callin himself “lil”) and subsequently google search every image i could find to check out how great the good lawd has been to him. as ray-j would say, “shawty got gifts.” too bad his dad didn’t have anything to do with it.
