this morning i ran out for a second to pick something up from the corner store. it rained pretty hard last night and there were no blue patches of sky as far as the eye could see. dressed in light jeans and a sweatshirt- cold and cursing having to go outside in the first place- i practically ran to the store to get what i needed. on the way back, i was snapped out of my daze by a guy walking in my direction. he didn’t look familiar, but his sweater did… he was wearing my favorite jacket! i don’t know if he caught my glimpse, but i was definitely excited. i immediately ran home and fished it out of “winter storage:”

there it is! it’s a jacket (lined on the inside with some kind of fake fur), but the arms and neck are like a sweater. it’s amazing! i got it from zara last year, and practically wore it out. it’s one of my favorite things to wear when the weather gets cold. there will definitely be a repeat performance this year for those of you who missed it. i am not one of those “but that’s last season” type of people. you’ll see me in this bitch on at least a weekly basis. we’re in a recession, dammit- i can’t afford new clothes this season!

anyway, once i got home and found it, i put the jacket on and walked around the apartment- basking in it’s warmth and hotness. part of the reason i like wearing it so much is because i feel so damn sexy when i wear it! it’s form-fitting, warm, feels amazing, and goes with just about everything. can’t get much better than that!
